Kaelyn is in the 1st grade!

On August 16 Kaelyn started Berenda as a 1st grader. We are so excited for her! Her friends down the street that are in our ward go there and couple other friends from the ward too. She has a great teacher that I love and so does Kaelyn. If you didn't know Mark went to Berenda too so it's nice to walk around and hear his childhood memories and see the teachers that are still there. Kaelyns teacher actually had Nick (Marks brother) as a student. We love that we can walk to the school too. Eventually we plan on riding bikes. Kaelyn just started riding her bike without training wheels! We are so excited to see what this school year will bring and look forward to watching Kaelyn grow!

The Cosentino's first camping trip

Yeah so I never thought we would go camping. Especially not with a 9 month old, but we did and had so much fun considering it was freezing and our tent was right under a tree and the weather was really weird so it sounded like it was raining all night and I couldn't sleep. But yeah we had a blast. Our kids had a lot of fun and got very dirty. It brought back a lot of memories camping as a kid. For some reason it didn't seem as much work back then. We went with friends and it was a lot of fun visiting with them. Here are a few pics. I didn't get really any of us as a family.... it was to cold to think I guess.

The next morning we went to the beach and we were all exhausted. I wish I would of took some pics but I didn't want sand in my camera lens. So I took the picture of the kids off of Stacy's blog.

Look at all these cute kids!

We can't wait for our next camping trip... hopefully we will be more prepared! :)

Our summer

Summer is over! wow! Im so glad we are back on track and on our regular schedule. We have had so much fun. Enzo was so happy to have his sister home to play with. I often found them on the couch sitting as close as they could next to each other watching tv, or playing Kaelyn's leapster. I know he misses her now that she's back at school.
One if the several things we did this Summer was go to Reno for Hot August Nights. The kids had a blast. I think the most exciting thing for the kids was staying in a hotel and going swimming at 8 o'clock in the morning. Mark and I have decided to try to go every year because we had so much fun.

Here's our kids in front of the hotel

Lucas being such a trooper as we took him from car show to car show

At night during the event they have crusin nights everywhere. We decided to stay late so we could watch one of the cruises. It was awesome. They block off the streets and Hot Rods drive down the road to 50's music and they throw candy to the kids etc. Enzo loved it and threw a fit when we told him we had to leave. He could of stood there for hours.
Going to Reno was a last minute decision. We got back from there and then had to pack back up for camping.(stay posted for post) But Im so glad we went. Kaelyn told Mark when we got there "thank you daddy, this is the best day ever" so sweet.
Since we've been back Enzo just keeps telling us that he really wants a Black Hot Rod for his birthday. I think he is thinking of a real one because he has several toy ones. He could end up being the youngest kid ever to have his first real hot rod at age 4. He's pretty determined :)
