Our pineapple princess

Kaelyn had her first performance on Saturday the 26th. She did a great job. We were so proud of her! She knew all of the dance moves and did such a great job.Not only were we proud of her for doing a great job performing, but she was a great example on keeping the sabbath day holy. After we started dancing with this school I found out that their performances were on Sundays, and since we really try to not do things on sunday we talked to Kaelyn about it and she never complained. So she performed for just the dance rehearsal. This year has really been a time for us to teach about keeping the sabbath day holy. Kaelyn has had a lot of things that she has missed out on because of our beliefs on keeping the sabbath day holy. I know that someday her example will help others!

last day of school

(I was really brave and went by myself with 2 kids!)

Today Kaelyn had her last day of school being a kindergartner and I have to admit I was kind of sad. She is growing up so quick and Im really going to miss her teacher. Kaelyn has learned so much this year and its only the beginning. I guess they don't have kindergartner graduations anymore so they had an awards assembly instead. Kaelyn was given the Citizenship award along with a medal. Im so proud of her. Today she brought home her benchmark test scores and she scored advanced on all of them. Hopefully she can keep up the good work every year!
( I wish I would of noticed she wasn't showing her awards! This picture was taken while holding Lucas :)

Madera Air Show

A few Saturdays ago we went as a family to the Madera Air Show and it was so neat. They had historic planes and helicopters that performed neat tricks, and we could actually see some of it from our house. The kids loved it and it was beautiful weather outside that made it more enjoyable.

(Enzo wasn't up for pictures this day dang it!)

Enzo!

Around Thanksgiving of last year we purchased a new Imac computer. The kids loved it especially since this is what Kaelyn uses at school. Well Enzo has learned how to do pretty much everything on it and it amazes me how a 3 year old can do so much already. Enzo can; look at pictures, take pictures, go on the internet all by himself and go to his favorite website www.starfall.com, (We do monitor him when he's on). He can also go to I tunes and click through his favorite artists which include Black Eyed Peas, Judas Priests, a little Britney Spears.... I know... awful... then Hannah Montana.. oh and he also knows quite a few songs from Lady Gaga. He amazes me every day how much he's growing up and I love that I have been able to spend time with him while Kaelyn has been at school.

Heres some pictures he took of himself!

New friends and a birthday

Well last weekend was a busy weekend for sure. Kaelyn had her first dance performance at Town and Country Park in Madera, where they performed for Race for the Cure. Of course I took a bunch pictures, but when I got home, I realized that I had forgotten my SD card and my camera doesn't have a hard drive so I lost all my pictures. :( I took video of it, but can't find the cord to hook up the video camera to the computer. So one of these days when I find it, their will be a posting for sure. She was sooo cute and was pretty much the best out of all the girls :) Im so proud of her!

Later that day I got together with my new neighbor and friend in the ward. She lives down the street from us and has 4 kids and their ages are close to Kaelyn and Enzos. Im glad that we can have members of the ward SO close!!! yay!

Heres Enzo, Mckay, Mauren, Kaelyn, and Taylor
(Benson and Lucas were inside playing :)
Look at all those Blonde kids!

Last Sunday my mom had her Birthday, (I won't say how old she is) So my sister and her family came over along with my parents. We had a great dinner and had fun visiting.

Lucas is 6 months!

Wow its crazy. Seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital. Lucas is growing up so fast. He has just started sitting up and now sleeps through the night. Its great but I know it won't last for long. He hasn't broken through any teeth yet, which has been kind of depressing. Some weeks he has been so fussy I was sure that something was going to pop up but nothing yet. He has started to really play with toys which has made him way happier which has been a blessing :). We had a busy weekend so stay updated for pics.

How do we stop smiling?

Yay! We have the internet again! It feels great to be in touch with the world. We are in our house and loving it. We had Easter at our house this year with both of our families and had a killer egg hunt. We had so many eggs and we decided to make it an annual thing. Our front yard is perfect. Click on the link to see pics on my sisters blog. (With moving I guess I've put my camera charger somewhere and I can't find it!)

We had a great holiday and now were slowly getting ourselves back to being normal .Kaelyn started back to school and I've been making the long drive so that she can stay there till next year. I can't believe that in a couple more months she will be in 1st grade. Its gone by really fast.
Like I put in my title of this blog we are so happy. Lucas has been sleeping better now that he's in his own room and away from the kids playing. What else could I ask for?
