We had a great Halloween this year. We met up with the Holbrocks,(Marks Aunt and Uncle, and cousins)around 6:30 and took the kids trick or treating around there neighborhood since its really safe. Kaelyn loved it and of course ran to each house with everyone else. I dont know if Enzo really understood it, but I think he had fun watching all the kids. We were lucky that Marks area to work wasnt to far from us so he was able to join us! Im glad that he was able to share this memory with us. When we made it home I hurried and turned on our outside light to see if we would get any trick or treaters. For some reason I was excited to hand out candy. I guess it comes with living out in the country for a while and never getting anyone because no one wants to go where the houses are so far apart. I had the light on not but 5 mins and I had kids coming up. What the crazy thing was, was that these parents who went with their kids came up to the door with their pillow cases. I couldnt believe it. They seriously would come up to the door and tell me trick or treat. It was crazy. After I got more then a few adult parents doing that, I couldnt handle it anymore and I gave one of the kids the rest of my bowl. I could not believe it. I guess I will just stick to taking the kids for now on.

I can't believe the parents would do that. RUDE! The kids look so cute in their costumes.
There are always a few adults going around and I don't like giving them candy either, but what can you do? I guess tell them they are too old! You kids are groeing so fast, but they are both adorable!
I can't believe how big your kids are getting!! They looked so cute all dressed up. I also think it's awesome how excited you were to pass out candy! That is so cute!
so cute! I love the costumes. And I know I was supposed to call you back - geez - sometimes I suck! Does it count that I thought about calling you? LOL!
